The Goodman AMST48CU1400 air handler features an energy-saving direct drive ECM blower motor and a durable cabinet packed with convenient installation features. Goodman maintains its commitment to efficiency and enhanced comfort with this model, offering a cost-effective solution for indoor comfort.

Internal factory-installed thermal expansion valves designed for cooling and heat pump applications
Equipped with a direct-drive, multi-speed ECM blower motor
Features an all-aluminum evaporator coil with a coil mounting track for easy repositioning
Optimized for use with R-410A refrigerant
Cabinet air leakage is less than 2.0% at 1.0 inch H₂O, tested according to
ASHRAE standard 193
Cabinet air leakage is less than 1.4% at 0.5 inch H₂O, tested according to
AHRI certified and ETL listed for quality and safety
Compliant with UL 60335-2-40 standards with a Rigid Smart-Frame cabinet
Can be configured horizontally or vertically
Designed with a 21" depth for easier attic access
Features a DecaBDE-free thermoplastic drain pan with secondary drain connections

Excellent company to purchase from

I wasn’t to sure about if this company could deliver it quickly but it arrived within a week. No issues. I needed this one for parts as my first one that I installed a year ago had the ecm go out on the blower fan. Parts are hard to come by for this Chinese brand. I think the ecm went out due to condensation in the main supply plenum dripping onto fan motor. I do like this ac unit but hope the fan lasts longer than a year. I covered the fan ecm with flex seal tape.
