The Amana Distinction PTAC air conditioner is a compact, efficient solution for cooling and heating small spaces, offering 9,000 BTUs of cooling power and a 2.5 kW electric heater for year-round comfort. It features Bluetooth and RF connectivity, accessible via the Amana mobile app, and integrates with the Eden Energy Management System for easy setting adjustments. Operating on 208-230V at 15 amps with a NEMA 6-15R receptacle, it uses eco-friendly R-410a refrigerant and boasts an 11.3 EER rating. The Distinction series offers durability, AHRI certification, and energy efficiency, making it an excellent choice for new construction or as a replacement. The unit fits standard 16” x 42” wall sleeves, with new installations requiring additional accessories (sold separately).

Arrival of Goods: Freight delivery times depend on the carrier's schedule and routing. Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout. The carrier will contact you to arrange delivery, and you must be present to sign for the shipment.

Damages: Upon delivery, inspect your shipment carefully for any damage or discrepancies. Note any issues on the carrier’s delivery receipt and notify us within 24 hours. Claims made after this timeframe may be denied. Photographic proof is required for processing claims. Report damages or discrepancies immediately at support@hvacstore.com.

Returns: For returns unrelated to damage, contact us at support@hvacstore.com for authorization. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility, and a 20% restocking fee applies. Items must be in original packaging and condition for a refund.

I wasn’t to sure about if this company could deliver it quickly but it arrived within a week. No issues. I needed this one for parts as my first one that I installed a year ago had the ecm go out on the blower fan. Parts are hard to come by for this Chinese brand. I think the ecm went out due to condensation in the main supply plenum dripping onto fan motor. I do like this ac unit but hope the fan lasts longer than a year. I covered the fan ecm with flex seal tape.
