The Goodman 80% AFUE R32 2-Stage Gas Furnace offers reliable, efficient heating with 100,000 BTU and a multi-speed ECM circulator motor for quiet, consistent airflow. Featuring a two-stage gas valve for economical operation and a SureStart® Silicon Nitride igniter for long-lasting performance, it ensures dependable heating throughout the home. With a fully insulated, heavy-gauge steel cabinet, the furnace is designed for easy installation in multiple configurations and meets California Low NOx standards. AHRI Certified and ETL Listed, it guarantees quality, energy efficiency, and comfort.

In California, many counties have a lower NOx emission requirement than the rest of the United States. The GD9T801005CX Goodman gas furnace is California Low NOx compliant. With a built-in low emission filter, this Goodman gas furnace produces less nitrogen oxides to be released into the atmosphere, lowering the overall amount of toxic greenhouse gases output of the average California home.

Please note that this furnace cannot be installed in the following counties in California: Fresno, Joaquin, Kern, Kings, Los Angeles, Madera, Merced, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Stanislaus, and Tulare. I wasn’t to sure about if this company could deliver it quickly but it arrived within a week. No issues. I needed this one for parts as my first one that I installed a year ago had the ecm go out on the blower fan. Parts are hard to come by for this Chinese brand. I think the ecm went out due to condensation in the main supply plenum dripping onto fan motor. I do like this ac unit but hope the fan lasts longer than a year. I covered the fan ecm with flex seal tape.
