Goodman 3 Ton TXV Kit 0151R00210S for R-410A Refrigerant Adjustable

A TXV kit enhances system operation and efficiency by controlling the amount of liquid refrigerant entering the evaporator coil. This regulation ensures complete evaporation of the liquid, preventing both under- and over-liquid issues. Thermostatic Expansion Valves offer multi-position mounting on the evaporator coil inlet, ensuring consistent, efficient, and trouble-free performance. Choose a TXV matching your air conditioner or heat pump's tonnage and refrigerant type (R-22 or R-410A). Additionally, for systems equipped with a TXV, manufacturers recommend installing a hard-start capacitor to provide an extra "jolt" of electricity during startup, aiding in overcoming higher head pressures. Failure to install a hard-start capacitor might lead to compressor startup issues.

Excellent company to purchase from

I wasn’t to sure about if this company could deliver it quickly but it arrived within a week. No issues. I needed this one for parts as my first one that I installed a year ago had the ecm go out on the blower fan. Parts are hard to come by for this Chinese brand. I think the ecm went out due to condensation in the main supply plenum dripping onto fan motor. I do like this ac unit but hope the fan lasts longer than a year. I covered the fan ecm with flex seal tape.
