DESCRIPTION

The Goodman GM9S800803BN gas furnace is distinguished by its excellent craftsmanship and cost-effective performance. Operating with efficiency, this single-stage furnace offers nine different speeds, harnessing Goodman's top-notch heat exchanger design to deliver dependable and effective home heating. If you're in pursuit of enhancing comfort, reducing energy expenses, all without straining your budget, your quest concludes with the Goodman GM9S800803BN.

Product Features:

  • 80,000 BTU Capacity: The GM9S800803BN Goodman gas furnace boasts an 80,000 BTU capacity. This BTU measurement reflects the furnace's input per hour. In turn, the output stands at 64,000 BTUs per hour (80,000 x 80% AFUE). This 80,000 BTU furnace is typically employed to heat smaller residences under favorable climate conditions.
  • 80% Efficiency Rating: Operating at 80% efficiency, the GM9S800803BN Goodman gas furnace aligns with the prevailing standard in the furnace market. This signifies that 80% of the gas consumed by the furnace contributes to home heating, while the remaining 20% exits through the flue vent. It's worth noting that 80% of efficient furnaces necessitate metal flue venting, whereas efficiencies exceeding 90% mandate plastic/PVC venting.
  • Single-Stage Furnace: Functioning as a single-stage furnace, the GM9S800803BN Goodman gas furnace offers a sole heat output mode. Irrespective of indoor temperatures, this furnace operates at 100% output whenever the thermostat triggers it. Analogous to a light switch, the burner in this furnace is either on or off, lacking intermediary levels. A single-stage furnace embodies the standard efficiency furnace type, maintaining consistent energy consumption with every ignition.
  • Natural Gas or LP Furnace: By default, the GM9S800803BN runs on natural gas. However, all Goodman gas furnaces, including this model, can be converted to propane utilizing the corresponding LP conversion kit-a supplemental accessory incurring additional costs. This kit comprises replacement orifices and springs.
  • 9-Speed ECM Blower Motor: Diverging from its predecessor's PSC blower motor, the GM9S800803BN employs a 9-speed ECM motor. This motor variant consumes less power and enhances air circulation intelligence. Consequently, your furnace's electrical efficiency surges, leading to cost savings.
  • Durable Hot Surface Igniter: Contemporary Goodman furnaces feature more durable hot surface igniters, minimizing related problems and reducing maintenance expenses. These hot surface igniters surpass standing pilot and older HSI designs in terms of both efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Self-Diagnostic Control Board: Leveraging years of production experience, the Goodman brand introduces advanced technology to deliver enduring products with rare glitches. In the event of a furnace malfunction, the control board integrates sensors for basic issue diagnosis. This streamlined troubleshooting facilitates prompt maintenance or warranty intervention, heightening safety for both the furnace and the household occupants.
  • Robust Heavy Gauge Steel Cabinet: New-generation Goodman furnaces are housed in heavy-gauge steel cabinets that ensure adequate safeguarding of internal components. The cabinet's enhanced air-tightness surpasses prior models, resulting in a quieter, more cost-efficient unit by minimizing heat loss and sound emission.
  • Installation Convenience: The value of modern Goodman furnaces extends beyond efficiency. Contemporary models, including the GM9S800803BN, offer diverse connection options to streamline installation. This particular model's universal design accommodates both upflow and horizontal configurations, simplifying installations in various spaces, from attics to basements. Additionally, color-coded low-voltage terminals expedite installation, trimming installation time and associated costs.

very reliable company and great prices

Bought a few units from this company and they were very friendly and easy to work with. Either matched prices or beat the price and had fast shipping also.

Excellent company to purchase from

I wasn’t to sure about if this company could deliver it quickly but it arrived within a week. No issues. I needed this one for parts as my first one that I installed a year ago had the ecm go out on the blower fan. Parts are hard to come by for this Chinese brand. I think the ecm went out due to condensation in the main supply plenum dripping onto fan motor. I do like this ac unit but hope the fan lasts longer than a year. I covered the fan ecm with flex seal tape.
