ACIQ 2 Ton 18.3 SEER2 High Efficiency Central Heat Pump | Inverter | Extreme Series - R454B (ACIQ-24-HPD)
Inverter - The ACIQ-24-HPD 2 ton Extreme series central inverter heat pump utilizes inverter technology to convert AC power to DC, allowing the compressor inside your condenser to speed up and slow down. This allows the system to self-adjust BTU output based on demand. As the weather changes, so will your system output.
Learning Condenser - Equipped with advanced sensors, this condenser monitors indoor and outdoor air temperature, duct pressure, refrigerant temperature, and overall performance. During the initial startup, it enters a learning mode that optimizes future operations for maximum efficiency by collecting and storing data.
Adaptive Sizing - With its self-adjusting inverter design, the ACIQ-24-HPD can be sized based on your heating needs. Standard heat pumps may cause discomfort during summer when sized for heat, but this unit automatically adjusts to function like a smaller unit, ensuring ideal cooling performance without excess humidity.
Extreme Heat Technology - "Extreme Heat" means extended temperature range heating all the way down to -22°F. Traditional heat pumps cannot produce significant heat below about 30°F outside temperature. Below that threshold, they rely on expensive backup electric heat. The ACIQ-24-HPD uses the inverter to vary the refrigerant flow, allowing for maximum heat extraction during extreme cold temperatures. The backup electric heat supplements the heat pump, and only takes over below -22°F. The heat pump gives 100% at 0°F, and still gives 80% at -22°F, saving you up to 75% on cold weather heating bills.

Performance Overview
Boasting an efficiency rating of 18.3 SEER2, the ACIQ-24-HPD provides versatile comfort across a range of climates by providing reliable comfort with a variable output that eliminates short cycling for lasting efficiency.
Important Refrigerant Safety Notice: This system uses R454B, an A2L (mildly flammable) refrigerant. It must be paired with a compatible indoor unit equipped for A2L refrigerant handling (including leak detection where required by code). If you have questions about compatibility with an existing indoor unit or ductwork, please call 1-888-557-9206 before purchasing.

Performance Overview
Installing the ACIQ Wall Mount Ducted Air Handler is similar to installing any replacement air handler. Your technician will handle electrical, refrigerant, thermostat, and communication connections, as well as connecting to your return and supply ductwork. This air handler is designed for vertical wall mounting with an up-flow-only configuration. Any 24V thermostat with 2 stages of heating can control the system, but the supplied thermostat is recommended. You can add electric strip heat for backup on the coldest days. The intelligent control board displays fault codes if maintenance is needed.
NOTE: to function as a heat pump, this air handler must be installed with a condenser and other installation equipment, available at an additional cost if not already included in this product bundle. To use straight electric heating, an electric heater coil is necessary and is also available at an additional cost.
