DESCRIPTION

The Amana Distinction PTAC air conditioner is a compact, efficient solution for cooling and heating small living spaces. With 15,000 BTUs of cooling power and a 3.5 kW electric heater, it provides year-round comfort. Bluetooth and RF connectivity, accessible via the Amana mobile app, integrate with the Eden Energy Management System to customize settings and schedules. This unit requires 208-230V at 20 amps with a NEMA 6-20R receptacle and uses eco-friendly R-410a refrigerant with a 10.6 EER rating. The Distinctions Series offers durability, energy efficiency, and AHRI certification, making it ideal for new construction or as a replacement for existing units. It fits into a standard 16” x 42” wall sleeve, ensuring easy installation.

New installations require a WS900QW wall sleeve and SGK01B rear grille plus either a wireless or wired thermostat (all sold separately).

We ship freight to the 48 contiguous states, excluding Hawaii and Alaska. Some shipping restrictions may apply. Liftgate services may incur an additional fee, which can be added at checkout.

Once shipped, you’ll receive an email confirmation with tracking details. Backordered products may have longer processing times, and we will notify you of any delays.

Arrival of Goods: Freight delivery times depend on the carrier's schedule and routing. Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout. The carrier will contact you to arrange delivery, and you must be present to sign for the shipment.

Damages: Upon delivery, inspect your shipment carefully for any damage or discrepancies. Note any issues on the carrier’s delivery receipt and notify us within 24 hours. Claims made after this timeframe may be denied. Photographic proof is required for processing claims. Report damages or discrepancies immediately at support@hvacstore.com.

Returns: For returns unrelated to damage, contact us at support@hvacstore.com for authorization. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility, and a 20% restocking fee applies. Items must be in original packaging and condition for a refund.

Excellent company to purchase from

I wasn’t to sure about if this company could deliver it quickly but it arrived within a week. No issues. I needed this one for parts as my first one that I installed a year ago had the ecm go out on the blower fan. Parts are hard to come by for this Chinese brand. I think the ecm went out due to condensation in the main supply plenum dripping onto fan motor. I do like this ac unit but hope the fan lasts longer than a year. I covered the fan ecm with flex seal tape.
