Installation and Maintenance
Installing the ACiQ central ducted air handler is similar to installing any standard replacement air handler. Your technician will handle the electrical, refrigerant, thermostat, and communication connections, as well as linking the air handler to your return and supply ductwork. This unit is highly versatile, as it is multi-positional—capable of being installed in upflow, downflow, or horizontal orientations.
The system can be controlled by any 24V thermostat with two stages of heating, and supplemental electric heat kits are available for backup heating during the coldest days. Should maintenance be necessary, the intelligent control board in the air handler will display fault codes to help identify any issues with the system.
Please Note: For proper operation, the air handler must be paired with a condenser and other installation equipment, which are sold separately if not included in the product bundle. Additionally, if you wish to use straight electric heating, an electric heat kit is required, which is also available at an additional cost.
