Installation & Maintenance
The installation of the ACiQ central ducted air handler closely mirrors that of any standard replacement air handler. A certified technician will handle all essential connections, including electrical, refrigerant lines, thermostat wiring, and communication links. The unit is then connected to your existing return and supply ductwork to ensure efficient airflow throughout your home.
With a multi-positional design—supporting upflow, downflow, and horizontal configurations—this air handler offers maximum installation flexibility. It’s compatible with any 24V thermostat that supports two stages of heating, allowing for easy integration into most systems.
For colder climates, optional supplemental electric heat kits provide reliable backup heating. And for ongoing reliability, the intelligent control board is equipped with fault code diagnostics, helping to quickly identify and address any system issues during maintenance.
Please Note: This air handler requires installation with a compatible condenser and other necessary system components, which may be sold separately if not included in your package. To use electric-only heating, a dedicated electric heat kit is also required and available at an additional cost.
