The ACIQ-48-AC-B is a 4 ton, 15.3 SEER2 air conditioner condenser built around a variable-speed inverter compressor and R454B refrigerant. Instead of cycling on and off at full capacity, the compressor speeds up and slows down to track real-time demand, and ACiQ's Learning Condenser technology monitors indoor and outdoor temperature, duct pressure, and refrigerant temperature during startup to fine-tune performance going forward.
Rated at 48,000 BTU of cooling with up to 3,037 CFM airflow and as low as 65 dBA of operating sound, this condenser can also throttle down to roughly a 1 ton unit when full capacity isn't needed, making it a good seasonal AC-only option for homes that already have another primary heat source such as a boiler or fireplace. It runs on a 208/230V single-phase circuit and weighs 218.48 lbs.
