Installation and Maintenance
Installing the ACiQ central ducted air handler is similar to replacing any standard air handler. Your technician will take care of the electrical, refrigerant, thermostat, and communication connections, as well as linking the air handler to your return and supply ductwork.
This air handler is highly versatile, offering multi-positional installation options (upflow, downflow, or horizontal). It is compatible with any 24v thermostat that supports two-stage heating. For additional heating during the coldest days, optional supplemental electric heat kits are available.
If maintenance is ever needed, the air handler’s intelligent control board will display fault codes to quickly identify any system issues.
Please Note:
The air handler requires installation alongside a condenser and other essential components, which are available at an additional cost if not already included in your product bundle. For straight electric heating, an electric heat kit is required, and is also available at an additional cost.
