ACiQ 60,000 BTU Floor Ceiling Mini Split Air Handler Multi-Zone R454B 230V ACIQ-60FM-HH-MD

The ACiQ Floor Mounted Air Handler is a perfect solution for rooms where traditional wall-mounted units are not an option. Also known as a heat console air handler, this model is designed to mount low on the wall, near or directly on the floor—ideal for attic rooms with knee walls, sun porches with windows dominating the wall space, and other unconventional layouts.

The shape of the unit is slightly wider, taller, and shallower than high wall-mounted models, allowing it to fit under windows or tight architectural spaces. This configuration offers effective heating and cooling while maintaining a low profile within the room.

Optimized Airflow for Heating and Cooling

Like traditional wall-mounted units, return air enters through the top of the unit, but warm air is delivered through the bottom. This configuration is highly effective for eliminating heat stratification by providing warm air at floor level. In cooling mode, the airflow is reversed to improve air circulation and maintain even room temperatures.

Carrier 40MBFQ24-3 Performance Series Compatibility

This air handler is also available as part of the Carrier 40MBFQ24-3 Performance Series, designed specifically for low-wall installation. With upward-directed airflow and multiple comfort settings, this unit provides quiet, energy-efficient performance in spaces where standard air handler placement isn't possible.

Impressed by the quality

I’ve installed Goodman heat pumps before at a similar price point. This was better quality, and a great deal from the HVAC store. I’m always a little nervous about picking the lowest cost provider but the came through quick and no damage.

I’m in the middle of install so if you don’t see an update, things went well. As I said, first impressions as I opened it up to adjust airflow direction was very impressed!

I wasn’t to sure about if this company could deliver it quickly but it arrived within a week. No issues. I needed this one for parts as my first one that I installed a year ago had the ecm go out on the blower fan. Parts are hard to come by for this Chinese brand. I think the ecm went out due to condensation in the main supply plenum dripping onto fan motor. I do like this ac unit but hope the fan lasts longer than a year. I covered the fan ecm with flex seal tape.
