Rinnai Matsui 3/4 Inch FNPT Tankless Isolation Valve Kit Lead Free

The Rinnai MIVK-T-LW is a lead free isolation valve kit for Rinnai tankless water heaters. The hot and cold isolation valves let the heater be shut off from the plumbing system so it can be flushed, serviced or replaced without draining the building.

It is a complete inlet and outlet valve system with union style connections, so the heater can be removed and refitted without cutting into the surrounding pipework. The one piece Matsui body is patent pending.

Key Features

  • Lead Free Construction: Certified lead free for potable water service
  • Complete Inlet and Outlet Kit: 2 unions, 2 ball valves, 2 drain valves and 1 pressure relief valve in one kit
  • Full Port Design: Full flow through the valve, with a full port outlet for purging, flushing and testing
  • Quarter Turn Isolation: Quarter turn ball valves shut the heater off from the system in seconds
  • Union Connections: Repair or replace the heater without disturbing the surrounding pipework
  • Adjustable Port Nut: An adjustable nut at the top lets the isolation ports and the relief valve be aimed in any direction for clearance
  • Color Coded Handles: Red on the hot side and blue on the cold side
  • 3/4" FNPT Connections: Female iron pipe thread on both the cold inlet and the hot outlet

Per Rinnai, the adjustable nut at the top of the valves allows the isolation ports and the pressure relief valve to be positioned in any direction, so there is clearance to connect flushing hoses and to open the relief valve safely.
